Dissertation submission goes green!

Doctoral candidates will now submit their finalized dissertation electronically through the ETD Administrator.

ETDs (Electronic Thesis or Dissertation) are an electronic version of a thesis or dissertation. They are similar to the paper copies but are readily available (as designated by the student) to the world via the World Wide Web. They can be prepared using almost
any word processing program and converted into a PDF.

What are the benefits of submitting your dissertation through the ETD Administrator?

The creative possibilities are expanded, since more vivid diagrams, maps, hyperlinks, audio, video, animation, etc. can be incorporated into your dissertation.

Submitting your dissertation for review and approval has never been easier. Through the ETD Administrator your dissertation does not have to be microfilmed before publishing which reduces the time before your report becomes accessible online.

You may also purchase bound copies of your dissertation directly from UMI Proquest through the ETD Administrator.
