New Databases: Web of Science, Mergent Online & MEDLINE

The library is happy to announce that it has obtained subscriptions to the Web of Science, Mergent and MEDLINE databases. >>

Web of Science is a citation database (similar to Scopus) that is particularly useful for doing comprehensive research on a particular topic, or tracking citations for an article or author. It should be especially helpful for those working on their curriculum vitae or tenure portfolio. Our subscription also includes access to Journal Citation Reports, which contain journal impact factors to help you critically evaluate leading journals, and ResearcherID, an online community for researchers.

Mergent Online is a business and finance database which provides access to data on global publicly listed companies, including annual reports, industry reports, executive biographies, earnings estimates and equity research reports.

MEDLINE is a medical, pharma and life sciences database from the National Institutes of Healths' Library of Medicine.

You can access Web of Science, Mergent and MEDLINE through the above direct links, or through the library's online resources page. (Make sure to include the "ezproxy.stevens.edu/login?url=" part of the url if you bookmark the above links, or they won't work from off-campus.)
